From general knowledge to specialized knowledge

The foundation of the Industrial Revolution, Productivity Revolution, and Management Revolution was a change in the meaning of knowledge. In this way, we transitioned from general knowledge to specialized knowledge. Former knowledge was general knowledge. In contrast, what is considered knowledge today is inevitably highly specialized knowledge.
There are various types of knowledge.
Until now, there has been no discussion of people with specialized knowledge. Until now, only educated people, intellectuals, have been discussed. Educated people were generalists. They knew what was necessary to talk and write about various things. They also knew what was necessary to understand various things. However, they did not know what was necessary to do something.
